Some people have commented that no inverter manufacturers /solar companies are offering such solar home inverters as a commodity. That is not true. There are today umpteen no. of manufacturers/ dealers who are offering standard packages and designed to meet specific load requirements in India itself. So many companies have come up who integrate the components like solar modules, inverters, batteries and BOS and build their own packages. I do agree that since architects play an important role at concept stage, they need to be educated and make a beginning.
No offense but there are a couple of companies that are supplying solar inverters that do not comply with the most basic quality standards. I have interacted with the customers of this Gurgaon based co that supplies Solar Inverters. These customers think all NCR companies are here only to dupe the middle class. Substandard quality is killing the inverter market.
There are solar inverter companies, mostly they are interested in MW projects and acres of land. There are others who have implemented home soar inverter projects, but their Q&A is tedious. XL sheets, how many hours the customer is using mixers, fridges how many lights fans, portal data entry etc. Compared to any DG set vendor, who visits the place, suggests a slightly higher capacity system, Quote is immediately given and customer makes a quick decision. more...
