160kN Railbound Forging Manipulator
160kN railbound manipulator is designed for holding ingots which are closely clamped by their tongs with a variety of actions to keep pace with the press motions in speed and precision as the forging process in the forging area of the presses.

Integral cushion type frame is designed for absorbing eccentric energy generated in the forging process. It can better protect the manipulator itself ensuring long lifetime.
For special alloy materials, they require a quick forging process should be completed in a narrow temperature range, the operation of two-manipulator handle integrated with the press is recommended. The solution is used in our customer plant for producing axles for high-speed railway trains.
Press and manipulator motions are integrated and controlled by one operator from a central pulpit. Integrated with the press, the positioning of forgings by means of horizontally moving forwards and backwards, rotating onto the forging area is in synchronization with the press strokes.
Carrying capacity: 30kN/60kN·m – 1000kN/2500kN·m
