Description

Using BEC, the Teach Insertions feature can find holes a maximum distance of 0.040 inch from the calculated hole location.

Only insertion locations on the primary circuit can be taught.

Insertions taught with an invalid span value are displayed in red in the insertion list and the status Invalid Insertion is displayed in the Product Editor status bar.
For 0° and 180° insertions, the insertion holes are defined as left and right when facing the front of the machine with left being the first hole.
For 90° and 270° insertions, the insertion holes are defined as front and back with front being the first hole.
Insertion List Window
To display the Insertion List window with the Teach Insertion options:
1. From the Product Editor window, select:

Components > Insertion List > Options > Teach Insertions
The following message is displayed.
2. Select No to return to the Insertion List window.
Select Yes to place the machine in setup mode and zero the machine axes. When zeroing is complete, the Insertion List window is dis-played with the Teach Insertion options.
