Description

As the most abundant protein in human plasma, HSA is composed of 585 amino acids. It has a molecular weight of 66.5KD and an isoelectric point of 4.8. HSA is widely used in biochemical experiments, such as being used as a blocking ragent in Western Blotting. Because HSA plays a role in mailly maintaining the osmotic pressure, PH buffer and as carriers and nutritions, the rHSA can also be used as a hapten carrier, a protective reagent, and in protein complementation control in cell culture.In addition, because of the long half-life, stability and carrier funstion, rHSA is a basic reagent in the biotechnology laboratory.
