Description

silicone caps are dual purpose masking devices .They can be used
both as caps and as plugs ,to mask studs ,pins,rods and holes ,
during finishing operations ,NEWAY caps will withstand stoving
temperatures during stoving cycles,they can also be used during
plating and anodising for thred protection,or to exclude chemicials
from holes ,To mask studs and pins ,the NEWAY caps are pushed over the
part to be masked and removed after processing preferably while
still warm,twisting to break the coating at the base ,When used as
a plug,a radiused ended rod ,smaller than the inside diameter ,
is used to push the NEWAY caps into the hole to be masked ,These parts
can be used time and time again,Any build up of coating can be removed ]
by rolling between finger and thumb ,or by rumbling.
