Description
VELAS 940nm is a compact high power diode laser system specifi cally designed for the transdermal treatment of vascular lesions and blood vessels on the face, lower limbs, and all other areas on the body, both the red superfi cial telangectasias and the deeper blue appearing ones.
When considering absorption coeffi cient, the 940 nm wavelength is higher in hemoglobin absorption, which makes it is more effi cient in vessel closure; at the same time, it is lower in water absorption, which means less chance of tissue injury and epidermal separation.
Th is unique combination of hemoglobin and water absorption makes the 940 nm wavelength the best all-around choice for full body vein treatment and the perfect tool to close blood vessels.
Also, the lower melanin absorption of the 940 nm wavelength than those in the visible spectrum makes it an eff ective tool for transdermal vascular treatments on a wider range of skin types.
