Description
HI-TECK Aluminum Jacketing materials are furnished from aluminum alloys complying with ASTM B-209 Standards. It is available in a smooth finish or stucco embossed or corrugated pattern, box-ribbed, also can be laminated with kraft paper or polysurlyn moisture barrier. Popular grades we supplying are A1050/1060/1100, A3003/3004, Temper H14-H24. Other types on request. Especially, Polysurlyn barrier is made of Surlyn, co-extrusion polyethylene, color film and covered with sun protection film. This moisture barrier prevents galvanic corrosion caused by contact of dissimilar metals in the presence of moisture, and chemical corrosion caused by installing sheets over damp insulation materials. Polysurlyn Moisture Barrier (PSMB) is an engineered coextruded film of polyethylene and Surlyn polymers with a total film thickness of 3 mils(76 μm)
