The GPS device model G-V800 adopt leading technologies, build-in high sensitivity wireless GPS positioning module and wireless GPRS communication module. GPRS/GSM real time communicate with surveillance center, build-in high capacity lithium battery and high strength magnet, no need to connect with cable (only need put it on car body). This device use for container and other fields, have the functions of tracking, inquire car through mobile phone and others.

2. Product functions

2.1 global satellite positioning:
utilize 24 satellites which distribute in outer space to achieve the function of global positioning.
2.2GSM, GPRS double channels to transmit data:
GSM, GPRS channel transmit data independently, in general condition, GSM channel is backup mode, it will use in the situation of GPRS was not online.
2.3 tracking/positioning:
system send positioning command, GPS device will return the data include longitude, latitude, speed, direct and status.
2.4 Once monitoring:
when vehicle owner want to know where the vehicle is, it can call the roll once, GPS device will report current location automatically.
2.5 timing monitor:
vehicle GPS device can set time interval to send status info and location to surveillance center.
2.6 currently valid locations:
the last location before enter into the blind area of GPS signal.
2.7 over speed alarm:
when the speed of vehicle exceed the value be set, vehicle GPS device will report it to surveillance center.
2.8 main power lost alarm, low voltage of storage battery alarm:
the build-in backup battery can maintain the power supply when the storage battery of vehicle be broken or damaged, and send an alarm to surveillance center to remind driver to solve the problem.
2.9 enter into limit area alarm:
it can appoint the area with polygon and rectangle, once the vehicle enter into the area, vehicle GPS device will send an alarm of enter into limit area to surveillance center.
2.10 Out of limit area alarm:
it can appoint the area with polygon and rectangle, once the vehicle out of? the area, vehicle GPS device will send an alarm of out of limit area to surveillance center.
2.11 replay history data:
surveillance center can set the device to report a info point according to certain time interval, surveillance center will save history record and data. Afterwards the history trace of vehicle can be display on the map in center software. (Achieved by system software)
2.12 remote control:
Users can remote control the GPS?? device via surveillance center, like send monitoring parameter and others.
2.13 parameter setting:
set IP, port number, APN node and other parameters.
2.14 time register:
vehicle GPS device will register every 12 hours, if there is not other message be send during the time period, then send a registration message to surveillance center; registration info show the working status and location of vehicle GPS device, if there is not registration info be send by vehicle GPS device, surveillance center will prompt it with colored sign. (Immediately detect and guarantee vehicle GPS device connect with network good)

5. Product usage and installation
?
Before use this device, please open the functions of SMS (use for SMS positioning data transmission) and GPRS (use for GPRS positioning data transmission) with SIM card. Make sure if the power of this device is enough or not to make the device works good. This device do not have the feature of waterproof, please do the work well of waterproof.

5.1 SIM card installation
?
5.1.1Open SIM card cover: use corresponding screwdriver to open the cover of SIM card;
5.1.2Install SIM card: open the SIM card cover according to the red arrow in below picture, install the SIM card into SIM card slot; (pay attention to the direct of SIM card slot gap)
5.1.3Install SIM card cover after SIM card was installed.
? 5.3 parameter setting

Use USB cable to connect with the main device of G-V800 and PC, as below show:

5.3.2.2 click tool menuàselect setting item, enter into the window of connection property, select corresponding port (it can be find at device manager), enter into configuration window to select baud rate (select 115200)àclick connection button then it is ok.

5.3.2.3 Parameter configuration
Click tool menuàselect debug item, debug window will appear automatically. Input correct setting commandàclick execute. The result will display on show result area.

1) Customer service SMS center number setting, inquiry and cancel?????????????? ????????//user use the function of SMS data transmission need set this item
??? Function: set or inquire customer service SMS center number
setting command: *#53*1*SMS Center#
For example:
Input *#53*1*13923715291#and click “OK”
Inquiry command: *#53#
Above result is 13923715291, this number is first SMS center number.
(Return message is “*=53*01*13923715291”)
Cancel customer service SMS center number:
Setting command: ?*#53*1*#

2) Local terminal number setting(this number is useful in vehicle data registration)
Function: set terminal number
Inquiry command:*#52#
Set (modify) terminal number command:*#52*terminal number#
For example:
Input? *#52*2100066012#and press “OK”
Remarks: 2100066012 is new terminal number.
(Return message is:*=52*01*2100066012; 2100066012 is the number be set)
Notice: terminal number need be set less than 4294967295

3) Set authorization for terminal number modify
Function: terminal number modifies authorization mode setting.
Setting command: #88*1#
Remarks: 1 is enable, 0 is disable.

4) IP address, port, APN node setting and inquiry
Function: set IP address and port number
Inquiry command: ?*#42#
Setting command: *#42*IP*port number#
For example 1:
Set IP address, port number:? (220.166.64.24 8800)
Input: *#42*220*166*64*24*8800# and click “OK”
(Return message is: *=42*10*220.166.64.24*8800*CMNET)
For example 2: set IP address, port number, APN (67.71.241.73:6224, APN: internet.com)
Input: *#42*67*71*241*73*6224*737884698278698414677977# and click “OK”
Remarks: 737884 6982 786984 14 677977 is the number code of APN internet.com.
Notice: when set it use handset, use “*”to instead the separate symbols of IP address point. And must press “OK” button after input completed to make it valid.

5) Inquire version
Function: inquire the terminal program and decide whether need update it.
Inquiry command: *#3#
Remarks: after input command and confirm it, it will return a string number, it means the time that terminal program edit and version number.

6) Inquire GSM signal
Function: inquire terminal’s GSM signal strength to decide the situation of GSM module access and detect if the GSM antenna installation correct or not.
Command: *#5#
Remarks: input command and confirm it, return a string:
First line: 26? ??????????????? ——GSM signal strength
One line: 26? 1????????????? -——ahead GSM signal strength, behind is register status, the meaning as below:
????? //0: have not registered, also have not searched (have not SIM card)
????? //1: already registered: Home network
????? //2: have not registered, it is in searching

5.4 charge
Use USB cable to connect with the main device of G-V800 and PC, as below show:

In the status of charging, power indication lamp(red) will always in light, and it will turn to yellow when charge was completed.
5.5 product installation
No need connect with cable to install this device, only put it on car body (metal iron) then it is ok.
