Description
Laurylbenzenesulfonic acid(LABSA) is a brown sticky liquid, belongs to the anionic surfactant. Its sodium salt Sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(LAS) or is also anionic surfactant. Due to low production costs, good performance, and therefore a wide range of uses, is the largest amount of household detergents synthetic surface-active agents, also producing an organic amine salt of the part of the magnesium, calcium salts and triethanolamine, etc.

LAS is the important product of sulfonate. LAS is usually a yellow oily liquid, formula for CnH2n+1HC6H4SO3Na, its hydrophobic group is an alkylphenyl group, the hydrophilic group is a sulfonic acid group.
