AdvaCare Surgical Sutures (Chromic or Plain Catgut) are used to sew parts of the living body. AdvaCare Sutures are available as chromic or plain catgut. Chromic catgut is a fibrous material that is absorbed by the body so they are ideal for surgery done internally. The surface of a chromic catgut suture is dry and smooth.
