ICOM A2 B C firmware do not contain B+MW ICOM A2 software
ICOM A2 is upgrade of BMW ICOM A, B+MW ICOM A2 is second generation of BMW ISTA diagnose and ECU programming system.
For BMW ICOM A2+B+C Functions:
ICOM A2 - OBD diagnostic supporting MOST, D-CAN and K-CAN protocols
ICOM B - B+M+W ICOM A2 diagnostic via MOST bus, and have connection to A-interface via USB connection.
ICOM C - B+M+W ICOM A2 20-pin cable for old models.
For BMW ICOM A2+B+C Special Features Compared with B+MW ICOM:
The modified BMW ICOM A2 for vehicles with OBD access receives a significantly more powerful processor and more storage capacity.Robust aluminium case will help to avoid damage when using in harsh environments.
To protect the MOST connector, the B+MW ICOM B for vehicles with optical MOST access will be equipped with a soft cover made of rubber instead of the former plastic cap.
The B+MW ICOM C for old series with a diagnostics socket will be additionally equipped with an approx. 20 cm long cable, which facilitates the connection of the B+MW ICOM A2 and makes storage in the engine compartment easier.
For BMW ICOM A2 +B+C support B+MW cars till 2013 year. Support B+MW & MINI full system diagnose and offline programming.
